Ahmad has experience in the areas of business and intellectual property litigation in state, federal, and international courts and tribunals.

While at the UC Irvine School of Law, Ahmad served as Editor-In-Chief of Volume 3 of the UC Irvine Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law. He also served as an intern to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Opinion and Expression, and as a judicial extern in the chambers of the Hon. Andrew J. Guilford of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Before law school, Ahmad interned with the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, in the Office of International Affairs.

Ahmad is accredited as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) with respect to U.S. private sector law by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Ahmad’s Note, Well-Known, or Not Well-Known? That is the Question. The Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property’s Article 6bis in the context of American Trademark Law was published in Volume 9, Issue 2 of the UC Irvine Law Review.
