Judy Hong Furth

Judy Hong Furth is an associate in Stradling’s Public Finance practice group.

Judy represents municipal issuers, mainly school districts and community college districts, underwriters, commercial banks and nonprofit organizations as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, lender’s counsel, borrower’s counsel and underwriter’s counsel in the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable financings. She has represented both public and private sector clients in secured project finance and public-private partnership transactions.

 

Experience

Served as bond and disclosure counsel on three refunding bond financings secured by ad valorem property taxes upon all property subject to taxation by the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District (San Mateo County) without limitation of rate or amount.  The bonds will refund outstanding obligations of the District for debt service savings ($3,090,000 for Series A, $38,040,000 for Series A-1, $9,360,000 for Series B; total: $50,490,000).
