Medical Center Bankruptcy

Representation of client in the negotiation and documentation of a loan which financed the reorganization of the medical center and its emergence from bankruptcy proceedings as well as the sale of real estate parcels. The loan was secured by accounts receivables and real estate (including, among others, ground lease financing which entails the pledge of a fee interest in real estate held by a public entity), and the work included the loan agreement, deed of trust, legal opinions, at least one purchase and sale agreement.
