United States v. Mazur et al
  • Central District, CA

Stradling Shareholders Jason de Bretteville and Kathleen Marcus represented one of the key defendants in a landmark securities fraud prosecution involving an extensive wiretap investigation. Former Federal prosecutor, Jason de Bretteville and former SEC enforcement officer, Kathleen Marcus, filed a motion to suppress the wiretapping evidence which led to a three-day evidentiary hearing, after which the government voluntarily dismissed the case citing its inability to rely on evidence gathered in the wiretaps.
