Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth believes in both nurturing companies as they grow and in supporting the organizations, universities, and investors that help businesses flourish in Southern California. For 35 years, we’ve been a key contributor to the infrastructures that help companies emerge and thrive here. We are known as a tireless supporter of virtually every valid effort to help fuel the success of entrepreneurs.
On an annual basis, the firm provides substantial support to more than 30 organizations dedicated to business growth in the region. These have included Adaptive Business Leaders, the American Electronics Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, California Real Estate Women, the Forum for Corporate Directors, OCTANe, Orange Coast Venture Group, the Technology Council of Southern California, Tech Coast Angels, The Indus Entrepreneur, BioCom, CONNECTt, and others.
We also work with leading universities on the development of programs to encourage innovation and to put that innovation to commercial use. Annually the Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth Business Plan Competition at the University of California, Irvine Paul Merage School of Business draws engineers, MBAs, and others to create and innovate. We also support innovation at UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, and Chapman University.
In all our efforts to support innovation, we don’t just contribute money. Our lawyers and other professionals serve on various boards and steering committees of many of these organizations, giving time to help these groups meet their goals and better the business climate in Southern California.
