Stradling’s success has always been connected to its strong involvement in the community. It is important to the firm to improve the lives of those in the communities we serve.

Culture
We are an annual sponsor of several cultural programs in Orange County, including The Orange County Performing Arts Center, Opera of the Pacific, Pacific Symphony Orchestra, and the Philharmonic Society.

Charity
Each year the firm makes financial contributions to more than 25 nonprofit charities. The firm, its attorneys, and staff are heavily involved in various charity Walk/Run events benefiting a variety of organizations and causes, which have included: American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Alzheimers Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, OC Komen Race for the Cure (Breast Cancer), and Epilepsy Foundation. From firefighters in Santa Barbara to Kids Konnected in Orange County, Stradling has routinely given both financially and with the time of its employees to help improve the community. 

All Stradling employees are encouraged to participate in the firm's Charity Committee, a volunteer group that hosts bake sales and other fundraisers within the firm. Each holiday season the Committee provides food, shoes, clothing, and gift items to between 5 and 8 local underprivileged families identified by the Salvation Army. In addition, the Committee is a conduit for firm employees to meet other charitable needs. Through the Charity Committee, the firm has donated food, clothing, sleeping bags and "waterproof" storage containers to the homeless through various rescue missions, orphanages, and other organizations. Employees are encouraged to volunteer with non-firm charities or organizations benefiting others. Some of their involvement has included Working Wardrobes, Operation Gratitude, and the participation in the Children's Hospital of Orange County walk.
