Mark Huebsch’s principal practice is public law, particularly redevelopment and public finance. He is highly experienced in all phases of redevelopment activities, including project financing, feasibility evaluations, project formation, project amendments, real property transactions, loan programs, and affordable housing, and has acted as lead counsel on numerous plan adoptions and amendments, as well as transactions. He also has experience as a city attorney, assistant city attorney and deputy city attorney.
He received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1975, having received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California in 1972.

He is an active participant in seminars conducted under the auspices of the California Redevelopment Association, NAHRO, and the University of California, Irvine, Extension, and he speaks at various occasions in the Introduction to Redevelopment Program. He is principal author of the Structuring Business Grants and Loans program offered by the California Redevelopment Association.
