Michael Flynn is Chairman of the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice and Chair of the Firm's Executive Committee. He practices corporate and securities law with clients that include emerging growth, technology, life science, manufacturing, restaurant and consumer products companies, both public and private, as well as equity funds and investment banking firms. His practice focuses on general corporate representation, venture capital financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, and secured and unsecured debt financings. He has extensive experience counseling publicly held companies on corporate governance matters, defensive measures, disclosure issues, and other complex securities law issues.
Some of his recent transactions include mergers and acquisitions for Mimi’s Cafe Restaurants, Yard House Restaurants, LLC, Z Tejas Restaurants, Inc., TGV Capital Partners, LLC, Innovate Partners, LLC., and advising issuers and underwriters in public offerings or private placements for Newport Corp., Specific Media, Inc., and Purple Communications, Inc.
He received his J.D. degree from Loyola Law School in 1985 and his B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1982.
